This Feral business developed from an idea that storytelling is not about the format. There is a lot of snobbery around that if it is not on film, then it is no good.

What a load of shit. Storytelling is about images and sound.
Putting across an idea or concept.
The format choice is a combination of artistic preference, practicability and budget. Whatever format you chose it comes down to the framing, the style and the quality of your sound and final edit. Film is great, we love film, but it’s no longer the best medium for every project.

So… we don’t care if it’s Film or Video or HD or Super HD or 10k. Our job is the same.

Ultimately, it ain’t the tools, it’s the eye.

Good Pictures Good Sound… We promise to help you and all other filmmakers to put your camera just about anywhere you want it. Record sound under almost any conditions.

We want to help you tell the story that’s in your head not the one in your budget… We just want people to shoot. Do it.

On top of this we’re trying to develop Feral to be a ‘Fair Trade Hire Company’…Yep, I know. How? We are not totally sure yet. We’re still finding our feet.

But it’s kind of built around idea that if you can prove that your cause is right then we’ll give you all the breaks we can.

With a bit of a Robin Hood thing in there…
