Wanna get up close and personal? At a focal length of 24mm, the Laowa 24mm Probe Lens is perfect for any project that requires a unique perspective. With Full Frame coverage and an EF mount, this amazing little lens can be used on anything from an Alexa Mini LF all the way down to a Sony A7s MkIII.

With a 2:1 Macro ratio paired with the lens’ form factor, this lens produces what Laowa refer to as a ‘bugs eye view’ with its proboscis-like design able to go through, under and into objects that previously were unreachable by standard setups.

The deep focus achievable with this lens also can be used to create a macro shot with far more detail and interest in the image than traditional macro lenses. This lens is therefore perfect for extreme close-ups and beautiful product shots.

Another neat feature of this strange-looking fellow is that the front casing is waterproof, opening up many shooting opportunities that may be on the damp side. Also, the front element of the lens has an LED ring light that is powered via micro USB, extremely useful when getting exposure with the minimum f/14 aperture.
