ARRI Alura 18-80mm

In addition to being optimised for digital cameras, the ARRI Alura 18-80mm zoom lens is compatible with film cameras, combining the highest optical performance with a robust body. All Alura Zooms’ colour characteristics, as well as their handling, are perfectly matched to existing prime lenses in ARRI’s collection.

The ARRI Alura 18-80mm is an incredibly versatile and ergonomic zoom lens (weighing 4.7kg) and is perfect for simple setups, to use on sticks in a studio or with even on a steadicam.

The lens is a telephoto lens and gives enough information to create a soft out-of-focus background. Simultaneously the lens doesn’t compromise on dimensionality, meaning that you can have separation from the background and still see tonal dimensional differences in portrait set-ups.
